Let’s Talk provides energy efficient appliances to fuel-poor customers, enabling them to reduce their energy bills. These include fridge freezers at one end of our range down to air fryers and slow cookers at the other.
Old cookers, fridges, freezers and washing machines are costly to run and expensive to replace so subject to available funding, the Let’s Talk Energy Fund makes available two free appliances to eligible customers, helping to stretch their household budgets a little further.
It’s an Ofgem approved scheme, operated by Charis and funded by UK energy suppliers.
Scheme delivery can be structured so that the funds of a contributing supplier are earmarked for their customers only. Or, they can be made available to any eligible applicants, on a first come first served basis. The Let’s Talk Energy Fund always receives considerably more eligible applications than financial contributions can fulfil, so it’s a completely risk-free initiative for suppliers needing to meet Industry Initiative spending obligations.
Last year almost 1,400 households were given vital assistance through our Let’s Talk Energy Scheme.
