We are all aware there has been a growing demand for emergency support products from during the pandemic and particularly over the winter months. Over the period from November to March – Charis delivered 60,000 emergency vouchers and saw a 43% increase in partners using our services.
As you know this need will continue as we recover from the pandemic and in particular parents will face challenges over the school holidays and need that little bit of extra support.
On the Charis Shop platform, we have Supermarket vouchers available for Asda, Tesco and the Co-op stores, in a variety of denominations. In addition to being able to use the vouchers to purchase food, they can also be used to buy other products ranging from craft activities, games to clothing (some restrictions may apply).
Asda and Tesco vouchers are delivered direct to your customer either via email or SMS, whilst the Co-op vouchers (which are physical voucher) are sent direct to your customer via Royal Mail Signed® For First class postage. As with all our products, purchases will be recorded which you will access via the reporting suite to provide you with the necessary information for your records.
The Charis Shop is such a good scheme for the current emergency and we are finding that we can immediately give support this way and follow this up with in depth help.
Really appreciative for the help and support during this hard time we’ve found life very stressful and have used more fuel and food than normal. Without the help with food over the school holidays we would struggle even more, now we can feed the children with a plate of food
About Charis
Charis was launched in 2003 – with a simple purpose to support those in hardship.
We have come a long way since then and are now the go-to administrator for many essential funds and grants on behalf of major organisations, authorities and charities. Each year we process over 200,000 applications and provide over £50 million worth of support to vulnerable individuals.
We are proud of the positive outcomes we make in people’s lives. As a family owned organisation that has been supporting vulnerable customers and households for nearly two decades we understand the challenges that families across Britain face. And we also understand the challenge that national and local charities and authorities face in getting help to people, when they need it.
Through our online shop we offer emergency utility, food, clothing, supermarket, cash and e-learning vouchers simply and efficiently.
The range of services we offer continues to develop quickly so please speak to us to find out how we can create a bespoke solution for you needs.
