Applications now open

Charis’s Park Homes Warm Home Discount scheme, which helps eligible park home residents with their energy bills, is now open.

To apply simply head to parkhomes.charisgrants.com.

This year, there is a new, shorter application form, making it even simpler to apply for £150, whether online or by phone. When you click on the link to apply, simply select the option to create a new account, enter your email address, and you’re ready to go!

Who is the scheme for?

This scheme is for permanent residents of park homes who pay the site owner for their electricity. Funding is limited and eligible applications are considered on a first come, first served basis.

Only one application per household is considered.

More about eligibility

You could be eligible for a payment if you (or a household member) pay council tax and receive one of the following:

• Pension Credit
• Income-related Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
• Income-based Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
• Income Support (IS)
• Housing Benefit also known as house payment or as part of Universal Credit
• Universal Credit and have an income of less than £1,694 for at least one relevant assessment period
• Child Tax Credit based on an annual income of below £20,328
• Working Tax Credit based on an annual income of below £20,328

Or:

• Is the gross annual household income across everyone living in your household less than £20,328 (before tax and deductions)
