Systems Tester Analyst

Location Peterborough

Main Purpose of the job

To undertake a testing role to validate system changes across the Charis platforms.   To ensure issues found in testing are reported and tracked to conclusion.

Job Title:  Systems Tester Analyst

Reports To: Business Analyst

 

Main Responsibilities

  • To create new test scripts to validate any new functionality being added to the platforms
  • To maintain and update existing test scripts as and when necessary
  • To run the test scripts, record evidence and report any issues found
  • To provide estimates for how long the testing activities will take for a piece of work
  • To work with the Developers to help them recreate the issues and act as a point of contact
  • To work with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements and support them where necessary
  • To work with the end Business Users to understand how they use the platform and help troubleshoot Production issues
  • To maintain a strong relationship with Subject Matter Experts
  • To attend Sprint planning and regular stand-ups during the sprint to participate in the planning process and update on work done and work left to do in the sprint

  • Competent with Microsoft office tools

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum A-Level, with higher qualifications preferable
  • Previous experience of testing or working in a similar role is an advantage
