Job Title: Business Development Executive
Reports To: Business Development Manager
Main Responsibilities
- To work with the Business Development team to secure new business or increased revenue from existing partnerships
- To generate leads in our target markets, establish contact and share our proposition
- To increase the number of new registrations on the Charis shop and increase individual spend
- To provide shop demonstrations using appropriate level of detail and terminology to suit the target audience
- To act as an ambassador of the business, delivering presentations and increasing awareness of business activity
- To support with the completion of customer forms and documentation, including tenders and frameworks
- To understand the role of marketing and media to support new registrations and input into future campaigns
- To proactively research target sectors, review data available and analyse to increase sales opportunities
- To propose new products to sell on the shop based on market feedback and potential profitability to Charis
- To understand the competitor offering and how Charis can differentiate to grow sales
Person Specification
- Ability to establish rapport and build excellent relationships
- Ability to identify client needs and identify the sales opportunity
- Highly commercial, numerate and literate
- Well organised and conscientious, following up on all leads and revisiting appropriately
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Good IT skills and use of MS Office
