We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing digital-driven solutions to enhance the customer experience and optimise operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and drive key initiatives that contribute to the growth and success of Charis.
You will need
- Strong Analytical Skills: Assess complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable solutions based on data and insights. Conduct detailed analysis of existing and required processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency. Deliver clarity on requirements and work alongside with business to provide actionable solutions.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Approach challenges with creativity and critical thinking to develop practical and effective solutions to address problems or change requests. Challenge.
- Understand Business Processes: Build a strong understanding of key business functions (e.g., finance, customer services, commercial, HR, IT) and how they interconnect. Use business process mapping techniques like flowcharts or UML diagrams to visualise workflows, and wireframes to document and demonstrate understanding.
- Stakeholder Management: Through delivering consistent, reliable outcomes, build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in for proposed initiatives.
- Collaboration: Schedule and facilitate workshops, discussions, and review sessions with stakeholders. Prepare agendas and organise materials for effective collaboration.
- Exceptional Communication: Excel at understanding stakeholder needs and translating them into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, including finance, customer services, commercial, HR and IT, to gather, define, refine, and document business requirements. Ensure all communications deliver clarity and value to the business.
- Technical Acumen: While not always required to code, understand technical concepts and tools, to enable effective collaboration with developers and technical teams. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
- Strategic Thinking: Align work to meet the overarching business goals, ensuring the contributions drive tangible results. Stay updated on ecommerce trends, technologies, and competitive practices to inform strategic decision-making.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough in all aspects of the role, whether it is gathering requirement, documenting requirements or communicating with stakeholders. Ensure deliveries are always of exception quality.
- Planning: Organise requirements, specification, and deliverables in clear language. Use frameworks and DevOps to prioritise tasks effectively and balance multiple priorities to ensure focus on critical deliverables.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adjust to changing requirements and priorities is essential.
You will have
- Degree level education or equivalent.
- Certification in Business Analysis
- 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in ecommerce or retail.
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps/Jira, SQL.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
We would also like to see
- Hands-on and extensive experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with ecommerce and Cloud platforms. Familiarity with Service design, UI/UX models and customer journey mapping.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools
